Regular Member Gossamer Posted March 20, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted March 20, 2011 Is it common for the donor scar to feel more tender and slightly itchy at 8-9 days post-op? It also feels very tight and sore right above and behind my ears. Any thoughts? Definitely feel it more after laying down. I had exactly the same and believe it to be because the wound is starting to heal and hence the staples become more of an irritant. I'm sure it's much more annoying because it's on your head and of course sleeping is probably difficult. I hope getting the staples removed helped!
