Senior Member mattj Posted February 9, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 9, 2011 (edited) I must admit I had to look up 'bboy'. Most surgeons will advise their patients to avoid exercise which puts strain on the neck/back of the head for at least a month after surgery. (Dr Rahal advises 3 months). The healing skin at the site where the strip was extracted will not regain it's full strength until at least three months after surgery, and you risk stretching this skin and ending up with a wider scar (assuming you had strip surgery, which might not be so) if the area is put under strain during this time, especially if the area still feels tight. The normal type of activity you'll see mentioned in post-op instructions would be weight lifting and sit-ups. The kind of thing you're looking at doing seems like it would be just as bad if not worse than those things. I'd strongly advise you to put off the b-boy classes until spring. Ask your doctor though.
