Regular Member creepingback Posted June 20, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted June 20, 2010 As I have a visible donor scar I was thinking of maybe trying minoxidil foam on my sides to try and thicken the hairs and hide the scars a bit more... Has anyone tried this? Is this a bad idea. I am not currently using minoxidil, but I am at the end of my rope and don't know what else to try. As far as it being a bad idea, in my opinion, it can do no harm and may help. Permanent hair does not become dependent on Rogaine so you've got nothing to lose by trying. Unfortunately, when it comes to hair growth and minoxidil, no one can predict how well it will work. You've just got to give it a try.
