Before and after one procedure of 1700 grafts by Dr William Rassman of NHI

Hi everybody!

This patient is an Asian male in his early 50's. As you can see, he came in at a good time to do something about his hair loss. He could tell that his hair was only going to get worse, and he ended up coming in for a transplant to preemptively help. This is why the relatively small number of grafts had a pretty good effect on his hairline. Propecia is doing good work of keeping the hair he already has, and he's not expected to need any further surgeries in the foreseeable future to keep his hair in optimal appearance.

I've also included a photo with his hair down. It's much harder to see the hairline that way, but I thought it would be important to show the hair in all the different ways it can be styled.

Also, here's a photo from directly after the surgery.

It doesn't look pluggy, but there was no way that 1700 grafts was going to give him a decent hairline density. He needs another 1200-1500 or so.

11/04-07 - 800-1600 ish grafts - danish clinic - poor results

12/02-08 - 2764 grafts - Dr. Devroye - good result but needs hairline density

03/12-10 - 1429 grafts - Dr. Mohmand - result pending
