Regular Member Dr. William Rassman Posted May 26, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted May 26, 2010 Hi everybody! This patient is an Asian male in his early 50's. As you can see, he came in at a good time to do something about his hair loss. He could tell that his hair was only going to get worse, and he ended up coming in for a transplant to preemptively help. This is why the relatively small number of grafts had a pretty good effect on his hairline. Propecia is doing good work of keeping the hair he already has, and he's not expected to need any further surgeries in the foreseeable future to keep his hair in optimal appearance. I've also included a photo with his hair down. It's much harder to see the hairline that way, but I thought it would be important to show the hair in all the different ways it can be styled. Also, here's a photo from directly after the surgery.
Tsakalos
looks kinda thin to me and that thing behind the hairline in the after pics can not reveal the result there.

Senior Member Mr. GQ Posted May 27, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 27, 2010 and now he looks like a patient in a need of a repair job to fix his pluggy looking hairline.
Senior Member MikeTheDane Posted May 27, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 27, 2010 It doesn't look pluggy, but there was no way that 1700 grafts was going to give him a decent hairline density. He needs another 1200-1500 or so. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 11/04-07 - 800-1600 ish grafts - danish clinic - poor results 12/02-08 - 2764 grafts - Dr. Devroye - good result but needs hairline density 03/12-10 - 1429 grafts - Dr. Mohmand - result pending Feel free to visit my picture thread My Hair Transplant Photos - Surgery with Dr. Devroye Young lads below 25 unite! Senior Member Sparky Posted May 30, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted May 30, 2010 tbh, it does look pluggy, those hairs placed into the hairline are far to thick.
