Don't let Fabe get to you. We all get a little over-excited from time to time.

Fabe is a little skeptical about things, it's not a bad attitude to have when it comes to these topics. Sometimes the first-time posters need to stick around for a while, before some people warm up to them.

I'd be interested in seeing your updates.

Also, I feel your pain on the bad HT issue.

Thanks.

For close to 20 years now, I have been losing my hair.

I think I have been depressed about it that long as well.

For me, growing hair again is amazing. I can actually comb the front again. It is almost thick enough now that you can't see my scalp at all.

For years I have been embarressed about what I let Bosley do to me. Growing hair has changed that for me.

Growing hair has made me feel good about my self.

I actually have puffed hair up front again. It has given me the strength to tell the world about Bosley, and how he tricked me and took advantage of me. If you read the charges against him at http://www.bosleymedicalviolations.com/ and my story, you will see I fell for his bate, hook line and sinker, over 15 years ago. (He has over 2 decades of scalp blood and disfigurment on his hands)

I felt, until just recently, as if I was raped by Bosley, very ashamed as if it were my fault. Growing hair again has made me realize it was not my fault--Strange but true.

At times, I want to get on a mountain and yell:

I am growing hair!!--Bosley is a crook!!!!

Five months ago my wife was telling me I should shave my head it got so bad. Talk about depressing.

Now everything has changed. I am growing hair. It's getting thicker everyday.

Growing hair again(For real) has awakened my joy in who I am, and my rage of being take advantage of by Bosley when I was a tender 23 years old.

Ken-

It is important to point out that many folks here are VERY self-educated in hair loss and its causes. Most of this education stems from the school of hard knocks, much like what you experienced with your earlier HT work (for which I do understand your pain....been there too!). Also included in this school of hard knocks is the world of magic potions, home-brewed topicals, and miraculous oral treatments or cures that fail to work and only succeded in separating the user from his money. I, for one, become extrelemly annoyed when someone starts repetatively posting that they have somehow unlocked the secrets of hair loss in their own kitchens, when the entire scientific community has otherwise failed or have had only moderate victories (Propecia being at the top of the victory list). Constant, unrelenting posts about topical lemon juice and vitamins essentially overwhelmed The Bald Truth site at one time and I really hope that does not happen here.

I hope your are right.

come see the hair I grew in 7 days. I just looked at it.

I just hope the hair does not bleach out when I go to photograph it. The hair starts white-ish and then grows into normal hair.

If you look at my pictures, I am starting to grow in a new hair line on the right side, just under the first row of plugs.

P.S. Sorry about the over-posting.

By the way, I don't believe it either. I look in the mirror dozens of times a day. One reason for going on-line was to give my wife a break. Asking her 100 times a day if she sees any new hair was starting to really piss her off. So I decided to go on-line to talk about it.

My offer is open. As long as I continue to grow hair, and what I have grown does not fall out,

then as soon as I file my patent, I will send you or anyone else a 4 months supply FREE. Just e-mail me your name and address.

Ken-

Couple of things that concern me:

1st, I do not see anything that demonstrates or illustrates your claims in your photos that you've posted. Circling an area and stating something like "this is all new" is not sufficient in my mind.

2nd, your before and after photos look absolutely the same to me....exactly the same. But, at the same time, I would not expect to see a change because totally healthy hair grows about 1/4" a month. Anything brand new at 7 days would likely be extremely short (no more than 1/16th of an inch) and likely very, very fine (is this what you hoped could be seen?).

3rd is actually more of a question. Have you worn a hairpeice or system before and then stopped (especially one that attatched to or weaved into the side hair)?? If so, it seems highly possible that any new growth you claim to have along the top of the side hair (where you have circled) could be regrowth after experiencing "traction allopecia" secondary to the system. Thoughts?

Also, I cannot recall if you said you are taking Propecia or not.

First I have a question for you. Did you look at my one week before and after photos?

Answer to your first question.

Please come to S.F. or have me meet with someone you know and I can show them the hair I am growing. Close up, you can tell it's all new.

Answer to second question.

What you should be seeing are a bunch of little hairs that filled in over the last week on the right. When I brushed it for the picture it clumped up with some of the older hair and gives that impression of being a lot longer. A bunch of the hair bleached out in the picture as well.

I am suprised you can't see it. What kind of monitor are you using?

For some reason, I had a big growth of little hairs on the right this last week. That is the only spot that grew like that last week. That is why I wanted to show it. I am very, very, proud of my new hair. I just hope it keeps growing.

Never wore a hairpeice, tried propecia years ago and it did nothing for me.

I really hope you don't think I work for Bosley.

I am currently collecting pictures of his work.

If I can get the money together, I plan on renting one of those traveling banner trucks and park it in front of his office with the real pictures of his work.

My bet is that Bosley won't like that. Time will show you what I am all about.

My goal, to have www.Bosley.com out of business by 2004. I want the pain and suffering he is causing, throughout the world no-less, to stop.
