Regular Member weg Posted August 13, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted August 13, 2006 After 7 months, I still have some redness and it appears that my hair is not as full as a month ago. Is this unusual?
Senior Member troy Posted August 13, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted August 13, 2006 is it the same length? I noticed that as well and wondered if it is maybe just length. My Hair Loss Weblog

Regular Member NikkiJ Posted August 15, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted August 15, 2006 I have seen it take up to a year for all of the redness to go away. In regards to having less hair, you may have lost some of the non-transplanted hair. If a patient doesn't go on Propecia and we transplant in an area where they are only thinning, once they lose the non-transplanted hair they may mistake the two and think they have lost what they gained from the surgery. If that is the case the only option you have is to go back and transplant what you have lost. I am the patient coordinator for Dr. Scott Alexander in Phoenix, Arizona.
