Additionally, excessive hair shedding is common the first couple of months after starting Propecia however, 5 months afterwards seems a bit odd. Maybe you are experiencing a seasonal shed? Know that its recommended to take Propecia for at least a year before evaluating its effectiveness. Thus, I'd consider going the distance with it unless a doctor advises otherwise.
