The Drs,. have put me on different types of medication. I am even taking meds for prostate and for hypothyroidism and a blood thinner. Senior Member Robert_ Posted June 5, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted June 5, 2005 That is a question best left for your doctor. You don't HAVE to utilize minoxidil after a hair restoration procedure. Sure, it will optimize scalp conditions for growth but it is certainly not necessary. Especially if it will be detrimental to your health when mixed with other medication.
