Senior Member scooping around Posted March 12, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted March 12, 2006 Hi all, I'm planning on getting a light HT sometime this year and looking for a good time to schedule a consultation with one Dr Keene in Pheonix. I'm 26 and thinning in the frontal area. I keep my head shaved so how long should I grow my hair out when I go see Dr. Keene? I generally keep my head shaved, so I'd prefer to keep it as short as possible for the consultation, so will a 1/8-1/4 of an inch be long enough? Senior Member Gorpy Posted March 12, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted March 12, 2006 Just give Dr. Keene a call, or send her and email. I'm sure she could answer that. I'd say you might as well let it grow out a quarter inch for the consultation if possible. ____________ 2700 Total Grafts w/ Keene 9/28/05 663 one's = 663 1116 two's = 2232 721 three's = 2163 200 four's = 800 Hair Count = 5858 1000 Total Grafts w/Keene 2/08/07 Mostly combined FU's for 2600+ hairs My Photo Album See me at Dr. Keene's Gallery
Senior Member GuitarPlayer Posted March 13, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted March 13, 2006 I would say your hair would have to be long enough for the doctor to evaluate your pattern of hair loss. I would say Gorpy's recommendation of a quarter inch sounds pretty reasonable.
