Senior Member repo-man Posted March 26, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted March 26, 2008 Seems that people start MSM post-op. Wanted to get some opinions as to whether it has made a significant difference in hair growth, both native and transplanted. I'm thinking about getting the GNC MSM 1500, but wanted some personal experiences. Thanks. Senior Member PLEASE GROW PLEASE Posted March 26, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted March 26, 2008 It works for me as far as making hair and fingernails grow faster ,but isnt known to speed the growth of transplanted hair until it sprouts.
Senior Member hairthere Posted March 27, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted March 27, 2008 i didn't notice a difference, but it's so hard to tell if hair is growing faster... it can't hurt you and is good for your joints, so there's nothing to lose, but don't expect any miracle growth. Senior Member repo-man Posted March 28, 2008 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 28, 2008 Thanks for the responses guys. I'm one day post-op with Dr. Feller and so far so good. I'm going to start the MSM 1500 and see what happens. I figured if it doesn't help the hair, atleast it will keep the joints in check Any advice on when to start aloe vera?
