Senior Member YoungGuy Posted January 23, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted January 23, 2008 You won't get noticeably more hair. However, your hair will become much more manageable and also thicker over the next 6 months and beyond. Look at it this way: it won't get worse, and it'll probably get better. Congrats on having hair again!
Senior Member MrJobi Posted January 24, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted January 24, 2008 it will get better and the hair will mature. At month 9.5 I had some crown hairs sprouted ( I felt the ingrown hairs) . This didnt happen in my other 2 procedure though JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. Bill - Seemiller
In my opinion, where the difference is extremely noticeable between 9 months and say 14 months for example, is how a hair transplant stands up in harsh lighting. Most if not all of the transplanted hair is in by 9 months however, much of it is still lighter in color and not yet mature. As it thickens and darkens, the hair transplant holds up much better and appears much thicker especially in harsh lighting. Bill
