Senior Member repo-man Posted April 9, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted April 9, 2008 I've read that Rogaine can help jump-start the growth process and some doctors recommend using it for a few months to do so. When I've used it in the past, it didn't really do anything for my crown except give me some light peach fuzz. Any experience in using Rogaine (on the transplanted areas) with good results? Also, have you stopped using Rogaine on that area and did it increase the rate of shedding post-op? Bill - Seemiller
repo, Honestly, I too am not convinced that this works, but it certainly can't hurt. The only problem I have with using Rogaine for a short period of a time is 1) it can induce hair shedding and 2) any hair regrowth that occurs from using minoxidil will shed shortly after stopping. These are just a few things to think about. Bill
