Regular Member Dirge Posted November 24, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted November 24, 2007 ...being new to to all of this since the mid nineties I have been getting various quotes on an FUT...is $7500.00 for 900 grafts and $10.00 per graft over that withn normal pricing or is that relatively high or low...this would be by someone specializing in this procedure etc...this is the highest quote I have been given... Senior Member the B spot Posted November 24, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 24, 2007 At SMG Dr. Ron Shapiro is 5.00 per graft for the first 2000 and 2.50 per graft thereafter. 900 grafts = 4500.00. Your current quote is over 8.00 per graft. If this cost is not prohibitive, you could go with fue with Dr. Rose or Harris for 8.00 per graft and save yourself a strip session for only 900 grafts. My personal is opinion about your current quote is you can come to SMG or go to Hasson and Wong or Dr. Rahal or Dr. Feller, etc... etc.. for much less cost for proven world class results.
