Chris,

Welcome to our community.

There are a number of discussion threads with some really good consultation threads. I'll see if I can't find some for you and post a link back.

I also recently composed a hair loss Q&A blog on this but have not yet posted it. Thanks to members such as Nervous Nelly and others who have added their input into this, there are many good questions on it.

Stay tuned.

Bill

If you have a clear idea about what you want to achieve with hair restoration, be very explicit about your goals. It will help you and it will help the doc. If the doc says that your goals are reasonable, ask how they will be met (how many sessions, grafts, cost etc.) If the doc says your expectations cannot be met, ask why (what are the limitations? Donor supply?) and listen carefully to the other options.

I think that the main thing is to express your desires clearly and then start a dialogue about whether or not these desires can be fulfilled. Most questions will follow from there.

Notice: I am an employee of Dr. Paul Rose who is recommended on this community. I am not a doctor. My opinions are not necessarily those of Dr. Rose. My advice is not medical advice.

Dr. Rose is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians.
