Regular Member Chops Posted July 10, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 A previous procedure left me with very poor quality grafts in my frontal 1/3. I have since had another procedure with a more reputable clinic to try and camoflauge these ugly grafts. I'm hoping when the new grafts grow in they will cover the old work. If they don't and I feel its best to get rid of the old grafts is it better to laser them or fue them back into my donor?

Senior Member BigBill1234 Posted July 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 How were they poorly transplanted?
Regular Member Chops Posted July 10, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 Wrong direction and I think they were damaged during removal giving them a texture very different from the native hair in both colour and texture. I don't have a camera, but its a similar case to this only the directions are a lot worse http://hair-restoration-info.c...66060861/m/808100233
Senior Member BigBill1234 Posted July 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 That young mans grafts look like they will be just fine with more added around them. I think you will be fine, I wouldn't remove any grafts unless they are just too low.
Regular Member Chops Posted July 10, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 There is a real contrast difference between native and transplanted hair in his pics, as is the case with mine. I hope he gets taken care of.
Senior Member BigBill1234 Posted July 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 I believe had he gotten more grafts they would be fine. Don't seem to be that bad of an angle
