Guest
Hi! I've been reading through this message board for a week now and I couldn't find an answer to my question. Well first of all, I'm not blad nor is my hair thinnig, but...I do have very fine hair with a very wierd and high hairline(sort of femanine). I'm also 20 years of age and I was wondering if any doctor would consider doing a hair transplant on me at all. I would like to lower my hairline just a little bit and straighten it out so that I can have more confidence in trying out the more modern hairstyles. If I would be considered a candidate, then can you guys kindly suggest some doctors in the los angeles area that you have had positive experiences with. Thank you guys in advance and sorry if I wasted your time.

Regular Member UKGEEZER Posted July 6, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted July 6, 2004 i believe it is possible... I'd see how likely you are to lose hair in the future tho b4 doing something like lowering your hairline... if both your grandads, your dad and all your uncles and brothers never receeded then i'd say go for it... but if ou lower the hairline lower down than god intended and you start losing it that will be a big prob... but yes it is possible... Guest
I was so thrilled after reading ukgeezer's reply, but dissapointed when I read the link hairbethere posted. Although the link killed my joy, it did enlighten me and made me really think about the pros and cons. From reading all the success stories, I thought that HR procedures were easy in general...I guess not. Thanx for the replies...I really appreciate it.
