Guest wanthairs
Nitinio...... It is very hard to tell from your pictures. However the little I do see leaves me feeling very concerned and I hope I am mistaken. It looks like you have had a "cornfield" procedure which is years out of date and can end up looking very fake. Please tell us, who your doctor was and how many grafts and more details of this. If y0ou could post clearer pics that would be great too.... I dont want to depress you either and i may be wrong in my observation....can others please chime in????
Senior Member chucky Posted January 13, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted January 13, 2008 I agree with wanthairs it does appear to be planted in lines but the post op pictures have too much light reflecting off them to see properly. Nitinio do you have any more post op pictures you could post. 2 x strip ht`s with Norton, very poor results 1 x fue ht with DHI,very poor result

Bill - Seemiller
Nitinio, Welcome to our discussion forum. I hope you understand that our members are concerned for your well being which is why you are reading these comments. The truth is, the pictures are very blurry and unclear, but from the pictures, I agree with what the other members have said so far. The grafts seem to be spaced very far apart and in rows (kind of like a cornfield) which is far from optimal in terms of hair placement. Again, it could be the picture or angle, but the scar seems crooked, not having been removed very neatly. Who was your physician? I hope you will be able to take higher resolution clear pictures to post for us. But don't be discouraged. All you can do at this point is wait it out and see how you heal and how your hair grows in. If you are dissatisfied with your result, you can always see another physician for a subsequent surgery. In the meantime, I hope you are on Propecia to help combat against future natural hair loss. Best wishes, Bill
Guest josh - b
i too agree. The pictures are a bit blurry but looking at the work and location (perth) i would be surprised if it wasn't dr martinek who performed this. nitinio, The work looks a bit outdated. You may well get a decent result, its just that it might not be as good as u were hoping for. best of luck
