Is thier any dangers of doing this that we know of. Some doctors are doing this to thicken hair transplanted from the head and to maximise donar hair. Senior Member arfy Posted July 9, 2003 Senior Member Share Posted July 9, 2003 I think right now it is considered experimental (or in the developmental stages) and I suggest that the average guy should not consider body hair, until it is well-proven. Right now I think it is really for repair patients, people with bad scarring, those who have depleted their donor areas, etc. New patients should not consider it yet, in my opinion.
