Regular Member Follicular Slippage Posted March 5, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted March 5, 2005 That thread was deleted because it apparently went way off topic. Check out this link. However, it would be helpful to see that discussion resurrected since this new technique evidently holds a lot of promise.
Senior Member JacobS Posted March 5, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted March 5, 2005 dense follicular extraction Are you talking about dense packing, defined elsewhere as "50-90 follicular units per cm/2 in one session". I think approximately 40 FU's per sq cm is required to have the appearance of normal density even though a healthy head of hair might be 80. Please correct me: A NW 6/ 5 = 50 -35 % of scalp bald 250-200 cm/2? A NW 4 = 30% * 40 cm/2 = 6000 Grafts Approx.? A NW 3 = 20% * 40 cm/2 = 4000 Grafts approx? A NW 2 = 10% * 40 cm/2 = 2000 Grafts?
