Irene1
I am in the VERY beginning stages of researching hair transplantation for my husband. (I offered to help him in this process....he has no clue how to start the research.) Anyway, we are in Atlanta and need names of great surgeons...especially any who are experienced with Middle Eastern men/hair. I know that sounds funny, but my husband's hair texture is very different from a Caucasian man. So, we need a good surgeon who is experienced in this area. Thanks! Guest
Irene Hi, What a great wife to help your husband out! If only all of our wives were so supportive! There are two Drs. recommneded on this site in your area. Dr Edmond Griffin The Medical Quarters, Suite 190 5555 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road NE Atlanta Georgia (404) 256-4369 and: Dr Daniel Didocha Hair Restoration Specialist of Atlanta 3121 Piedmont Rd. N.E. Atlanta Georgia 1-800-241-3837 Post another times about these two Drs and get as much info as you can with them. Don't limit your self to your area alone either. They are many great Drs. who are all over the USA and Canada that alot of our members have flown many miles to get there. You can consult over the web or send photos for a proper conclusion on his needs for a Transplant. Stay away from the big name chains like Bosley! Do your homework! He has been losing his hair for sometime I am sure, don't make a hasty decision now like it so urgent. Patience, research, advice here, and patient results are what you should be seeking now and this place is a great first step in your journey! Senior Member Manko Posted August 24, 2003 Senior Member Share Posted August 24, 2003 Irene, I apologize for that last post. Unfortunately, I had a party at my house last night, and my computer was obviously used by someone else. I would never post something like that. I'm very sorry, and I know the moron who posted that, and I'm going to let them know how much they embarassed me. I'm going to make sure I turn the computer off for the next party. On a more serious side, I really can't help you with your question, but I would think the good docs can handle most hair types. Good luck.
