I have no medical insurance so I certainly can't afford to make the rounds until I find one that will prescribe it. Can anyone help? Guest Posted October 8, 2003 Share Posted October 8, 2003 I know a perscription of Avodart costs roughly $70 for a month's supply. If your doctor will perscrib it for you, it's basically $20 more per month than Propecia. I do know online without a perscription from those European companies, it's pretty expensive, like over $100/month.
