Senior Member Time to do something Posted October 1, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 1, 2007 I had a HT July 4th. I had 2550 grafts put in the front only. I believe I am a NW 5. For my second procedure I must decide if I want to place the second 2500 grafts in the front or put them on the crown. Approximately how long do I need to wait between surgeries? Senior Member the B spot Posted October 1, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 1, 2007 If you re-transplant the frontal area, the earliest you should go back is 10 months--minimum-- I prefer 12-14 months. However, if you are transplanting a wholly different area--ie the crown, 6-8 months might be ok. If you are a NW5, your most likely going to need another 2500 in the frontal 120cm to achieve the illusion of density. Good Luck!! Go Cubs! 6721 transplanted grafts 13,906 hairs Performed by Dr. Ron Shapiro Dr. Ron Shapiro and Dr. Paul Shapiro are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians.
