Hi Peps,

At the moment im bit confussed and would like some advice.

I'm currently 23 have a receeding hairline and going thin on top but still have full coveredge and thick sides and back.

I have been to 3 Clinics in London and they are the following,

The Harley Hair Clinic

DHI

Alvi Armani

What i want done is to have a healthy looking hairline and take Propecia for the current thining that im current have which hopefully should slow down the hairloss process and have a little hair growth on top and in the future if the top needs doing i will get it done.

Getting back to the Clinics,

I visited Harley Hair Clinic which they advised me that at the moment in time i cant have nothing done due to my hairline has dead blonde cells falling out and he would not perform the procedure until they are out because they would effect his work he would done in the future. He then advised me to take propecia and to come back in 2 -3 years then he will look again.

Once i came out of there i thought quite happy from his comments then i thought i will get a second consultation with another clinc to confirm so i went to,

DHI, at DHI they went through my hair and said different, they said yeah they would do the work on the hairline 1000 hairs is just needed and this would cost 3000 uk pounds so i thought ok thats not bad.

When i got home i done some research on DHI and thought with Bad Reviews i would look at another place,

Alvi Armani, when meeting here as usual they went through my hair said how would i like my hairline i said i wanted a healthy hairline once again nice density as you would expect for a hairline he then recommended 3500 Grafts for just my hairline and a price of ??5 per Graft if you add that up it comes to 17500 UK Pounds then you cannot have the procedure within the uk you will need to pay for a flight out to USA and to have this done??

i was gobsmacked at the price as you can imagine but if it worked i would have it done.

Does anyone have any advice with regards to anygood clinics that do a good job.

or any advice at all??

Thank You

Advice: Stay as far away from all of those places as possible. Also if you have some pics you should post them here for further advice. Generally at 23 years of age you arent going to have to many people tell you it's a good idea to have a HT done. You are to young and a consistant pattern propably hasnt shown up yet. The best advice you can get is to start Propecia and Rogaine to stabilize hair loss. Hopde this helps.

It sounds like it may be too early in your hair loss to consider a hair transplant, going off what those "clinics" have said.

The only clinic you should even consider in the UK is Farjo in Manchester.

Do a lot research on here, maybe go see Farjo's but most importantly - never set foot in those clinics again.
