Regular Member Hair of the dog Posted October 23, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted October 23, 2008 Hi all Just wondering what people's thoughts are on using fake tan spray on the recipient site and face 3/4 weeks after a procedure? I have read a lot of posts saying the grafts should be secure after about 10 days. I am quite fair skinned and thought this might be a way to try and hide the lingering redness. I am going to ask the doc before but has anyone given this a try?

Bill - Seemiller
Hair of the dog, At 3/4 weeks post op, you should be free to apply just about anything to your scalp however, I'd suggest keeping anything alcohol based off it or it may irritate the recipient area. Check with your doctor, but I'd think you should be fine doing this. On the other hand, I'm not sure why you'd want to? Bill
