Senior Member dhuge67 Posted February 11, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted February 11, 2006 I recently purchased Propecia (a 4 month supply) and am wondering where people find good prices on it, online. I've seen the generic brand advertised on some sites too, and it is a lot less expensive. I'm wondering though, does it work as well? It says it has 1 mg too... Thanks. 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ. Senior Member GuitarPlayer Posted February 12, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted February 12, 2006 Dhuge67, Rather than taking a risk with generic Propecia, I would just buy Proscar and a pill cutter. You can divide the Proscar up into four pieces and it will only run you about $20 a month. That's probably cheaper than the generic stuff and you'll have piece of mind. Regular Member mistermike Posted February 13, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted February 13, 2006 I agree. I pay $15 for eight tabs... split into quarters, that's a month's supply. I would never purchase medicine (or anything to be ingested!) online.
Senior Member dhuge67 Posted February 14, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 14, 2006 Well, where do you buy Proscar and where do you buy a pill cutter? 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ. Regular Member mistermike Posted February 17, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted February 17, 2006 The Proscar is a prescription written for me by my hair doctor (it's much cheaper per dose than Propecia). I can fill it at any drug store. I bought a pill cutter from Walgreens for around $5.
