  1. Hello, I'm going to be using the quartered Proscar 5mg strategy so I need to find a good pill cutter/splitter. Have you used any that you would recommend? I checked out 2 popular ones on amazon but some reviewers complained that the splitters crushed the pills or split them 1/3 x 2/3. Not sure if that's a common problem with most pill splitters or if you can recommend a good one that avoids these problems.
  2. Hello, I need to get a prescription for Proscar. I already have a prescription for Finasteride but it's it's $$$. I went to a local clinic to get Proscar but the dr wouldn't prescribe it to me since it's marketed for the prostate. I just want a prescription and not interested in buying the drug online because it's cheap enough to buy locally. I could pay $50-$100 for an online transaction like this: https://www.americanwell.com/doctors-available-24-hours/ My main concern is that I don't want to randomly pay $$$ for a dr consultation and then be told that he won't write me a prescription for proscar. So can you recommend a good way to get a proscar prescription online?
  3. Hello, I wanted to make sure that I was up to date on the latest no-brainer hair maintenance treatments. For example, some treatments are broadly proven, and accepted, at this point. Therefore, it's a no-brainer to include those treatments as part of my hair maintenance regimen. * My daily shampoo is H&S (active ingredient: pyrithione zinc). * I use Nizoral shampoo 2-3 times/week * I take a daily Biotin supplement (5k mcg) * I also take a daily multivitamin and vegetarian omega-3 with epa + dha for general health. Although propecia is strongly recommended to prevent hair loss, I have avoided taking it, because I don't like the reported side effects. So, based on this information I've provided, and based on current science and technology, are there any other hair maintenance treatments, I should include in my daily regimen?
  4. Hello, I just found the following article after doing a quick google for hair cloning: **outside link removed** Looks like a breakthrough! Do you think this option will be commercially viable to the general population within 5 years?
  5. Is there any hair dye that doesn't hurt hair? I've been getting my hair colored for the last 3 years. I had a hair transplant about 5 years ago. I think the quality of hair dye varies by salon. I used to go to one salon a few years ago and the hair dye always felt comfortable and my hair looked good. Then I went to another salon about a year later and the hair dye stung my scalp. It started to effect the hair on my head and made the transplanted hairs noticibly thinner and some of it fall out temporarily. Then I didn't get my hair dyed for a while and all the thickness returned to the hair on top of my head. At this particular salon I switched from permanent to semi-permanent dye later on and this didn't sting or make my hair miniaturize. So is there any hair dye that is actually *good* for the hair and will make it *thicker*? I think I've read this about henna dyes somewhere but I'm not sure if that was just an advertisement. So I wanted to see - what has your experience been with hair dyes, how has it affected your hair and what are you using now?
