I am not sure if I have seborrheic dermatitis or scalp psoriasis. I have lots of skin build up in patches from crown to the front of my scalp and I have a very flaky scalp all over. And I have to scrape it out once in a month using comb. And few hair follicles come out along with it as they are attached to it. One of the dermatologists asked me to stop use of Rogaine and gave me some psoriasis shampoo and ointment. So if any of the guys had such experiences, can you please share how you solved it and also please advise on whether I should continue rogaine or just leave it. I am afraid I will lose the hairs that got used to rogaine. I am already quite bald and dont want to loose anymore. I am also on propecia. And I am also planning for HT in next 6 months but is it advisable to go for HT with these scalp conditions.

Hi, I am experiencing hair loss around temples. Is there any medicine like minoxidil for temple region. Or can I use minoxidil itself. Right now I am on propecia and minoxidil.

I have been rogaine/propecia for last 2 months now. Taking propecia is easy. So I am ok with taking it as long as I can. But I hate applying rogaine every night and morning. THe main problem is applying it for my whole life. But I am afraid if I stop it I will have more hair loss. So please advise if I should stop applying rogaine or not

Is it ok to use any generic ketaconzole 2% shampoo or should we use only Nizoral 2%?

Some questions on minoxidil usage: 1. Will it be of any help if I apply more than 1ml of minoxidil? 2. And is it like 1ml for each thinning area or overall? Like I have thinning on some part of the crown, little thinning spots towards the front and middle. So do I need to apply 1 ml to each of these spots? 3. Will it have any impact on areas other than crown?

But I have my brothers marriage coming up and I dont wanna go there with small bald patches. Are there any concealers which can create an illusion of density. I came across nanogen and kearsome. Has anybody used those products? Or should I get a hair system from hair club?
