  1. Thanks eveybody for your replies and support. I'm pondering posting a some pics about my current situation. I am very concerned that my strip procedure was done well on my left side and maybe she ran out of hairs to put on the right side, at least it seems like there are more multiple hair follicles on the right and not as many singles. I have even resorted to plucking some of them out to make it look thinner. But that is for another post. I hope you all will be looking for it! And I hope you can give me some advice.
  2. Now I'd like to rename this thread, is that possible?
  3. I like your thinking. Gonna wait for some more responses also. Thanks
  4. OK, this may sound like a wildly impractical thought, I'd like some responses. I'm only 24, and my nape hair doesn't seem to be thinning whatsoever. Nor does my dad's or any male relative, even over the age of 65. OK, that said, would it be a horrible idea to get the nape hair done? Even with the expectation that it may fall out, with confidence that there will be some future alternative, such as stem-cells or all or all that good stuff... Just a thought. Thanks Ryan
  5. I agree 100%, in fact I posted this in hopes that a physician would see and comment on it. Thankfully we had Future_HT_Doc. I'd love any more feedback. Thanks Ryan
  6. Thanks for your replies everybody, I was curious... I kind of live in the middle of nowhere, and had some questions about where I could get a FUE done, by a reputable doctor. I live in southern New Mexico, and Sharon Keene is the closest, she did a pretty good job on my FUT... I opted to have FUT because I had already had some surgery done on my head to remove some fatty deposits. But, apparently FUT cannot get those same hairs the way FUE can. Thanks guys Best Ryan
  7. I had this crazy idea while I was lying in bed last night, after looking at my hairline, where the results are decent, like B+. I had one HT a few years ago, at age 23, and I've been on propecia/rogaine. Anyways, has any doctor ever used body or arm hair specifically for the front part of the hair? I know it would not grow very long, but at least it would break up the sharp contrast of dark thick hair from the back of the head to the forehead. I felt like a genius, and I couldn't wait to get to work today to post this. What does everybody think? Best Ryan
  8. I did it when I was 23 (last year), it was a life-changing experience. Mine was with Dr. Sharon Keene. Even if you don't get everything you want in your first surgery, it will significantly improve your quality of life. Some advice, if you are getting the HT make sure you use rogaine and propecia, because if you don't you're just wasting your time and money. I am considering getting another one done pretty soon, to make it more dense. But my self confidence has gone up unbelievably, and I even cut my hair very short now. Hope this helps, Best Ryan
  9. I read research of some British doctor who implanted his hairs into his wifes arm. Lo and behold, male hairs grew from her arm. I was curious if anybody has ever heard of someone with virtually no family history of baldness giving donor hairs to someone else? Just curious because one of my really good friends who I talk about my hairloss to has the same kind of hair as me, just all of it, and no family history. ( we are both 21 )
