  1. Thanks. Maybe I'll experiment with a different hair cut or stay out of the public eye for the next year. If I come with something I'll be sure to post it. Thanks again.
  2. Work is my concern. A bandanna or hat won't cut it. Years ago I saw a product you could spray on your balding area to cover it up. I never thought of this dilemma.
  3. Looking for advice in hiding an HT. Existing hair is longer and while transplant hair is growing in it is very obvious. Don't want to buzz cut my head and have had bad luck using toppik, probably because I don't know how to use it. Any tricks out there? Thanks

  5. Today marks the third week since my 2500 plus graft procedure by Dr. Epstein and staff. All is well and proceding as I was told. I did research on this site and others over a 6 month period off and on prior and narrowed it down to Dr. Epstein and another well known doctor in Florida. I was pretty nervous going in (not a fan of surgery or pain) but the procedure and experience (what to expect in terms of pain and comfort)was explained and I prepared myself, expecting it to be more painful than described. I can honestly say that I never felt queasy or distressed at any time during my procedure. The staff was very good and kept me at ease throughout. Pain was never an issue-VERY minimal. My first night was the worst of it for me, just couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep sitting up and when I did doze off my head fell back and hit the headboard-forget sweet dreams after that! The next day I went in to have my hair washed then caught my flight home. I did get a prescription from Dr. Epstein the following day to be certain that I could be comfortable enough to sleep from that point on but only needed a few of the pills. All in all, it was easy and I look forward to seeing how it turns out when my hair grows in. Thus far, I am happy with everything Dr. Epstein has done and if you are considering a procedure, have this man and his staff do it! Some advice-if you intend to have a family member remove the stitches, have them call the office for directions before they begin the "learn as you go" process my wife attempted. Also, if flying, remove the scissors from the kit before going through security. All my best to Dr. Epstein, Roxy and his staff.
