Hello all, I am planning to get a hair transplant done in india. After reading numerous posts i can understand that Dr.madhu is highly recommended in this forum. All his patient results seems to be impressive. However i am still worried that all the results that i have seen have been done with the traditional strip method. I would want to have my HT done through the FUE method. Please let me know if there are any patient testimonials with the FUE method. Does it really matter in terms of results when the method is either FUE or the FUT method. Can i go ahead with Dr.Madhu for the FUE HT method readily. Please infuse some confidence in me as i am very reluctant and the fear of failure is creeping in me as it involves a huge financial risk especially since its FUE which is expensive than the Strip method. i just got off the phone after speaking with Advanced Hair Studio in Delhi - India. I was told they have a surgical strand by strand procedure which is the Hair transplant and the laser procedure to stop hair loss and promote hair growth only if Hair roots are intact. I would like to know if anyone has done the surgical strand by strand procedure[Hair Transplant] with AHS, and how is the results and cost. Do they do a FUE technique or the strip method only. I read a lot of complaints regarding the non surgical strand by strand procedure which is basically a hair replacement, but it would be nice if i can have responses for the surgical strand by strand procedure.

Hello All, I see a lot of people mentioning 'x' number of grafts. I still do not get the difference between hairs and grafts. Is the number of grafts and hair same or one single graft might contain more than 1 hair. I also do not know what is a follicular unit Please explain me about these terms. -Raj

Hello All, I would like to know if there is any HT surgeon in india who this forum can recommend. I am highly hesitant in going for a Ht in india as i don't find any credible surgeon who does a real good HT. I am looking for FUSE method.Looking at my scalp i feel that i would need atleast 4000. I have also heard about Dr.Mahadevia and read a thread about a member who did HT in his clinic. But did not find any Photos of him after the surgery. Can you please let me know if Dr.Mahadevia can be trusted upon? Have any of you received any postive or negative comments about Dr.Mahadevia? I searched a lot about this doctor in this forum and a couple of others but did not find any. Please help me out. I read about other 2 in India who did a pretty bad job, so i am ruling them out. -Raj

I ve seen people asking to travel to USA or Europe to get the Best HT done. I have questions regd the travel procedure like on what VISA wud i be required to come to USA or Europe to get my HT done. Can i do HT when i am there in my work permit or B1 visa for that matter. If i need to come to US or Europe just for HT then how shud i go abt it.
