  1. Looks great. I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Epstein last year when he recomended I take finadestride for 1 yr before considering the procedure. After seeing your results and Dennis's I am really glad I choose Dr. Epstein. Lets see the one year follow up is in a month.
  2. ok diagnostic was take 1/4 of a finastride pill a day and see what happens not enought hair loss for a treansplant. donor area is real good. Possible problems with a transplant in the front of my head since the hair grows backwards compared to the top of my head.
  3. Wow man that is excellent improvement! How much of a dosage do you take. Dr. Epstein prescribed me 1/4 of a pill of finastride a day for my condition which is very simialr to yours overall thinning on the top of the head. Are ther any seroius side effects you noticed? thanks
  4. Consultation is set for the 27th with Dr. Epstein... lets see what he says...........
  5. djdennis thanks i will make sure to check him out i live very close to sunset blvd (72 st)... dewayne... the hair loss / penis enlargement is funny man! but so far the complaints from the ladies are only for hair loss. I'll let you know when things go downhill...j/k.
  6. Thanks Bill, your comments make a lot sense. I value your opinion a lot especially on the fact that the existing hair will be potentially lost. It seems all of you agree on the meds. Over the weekend I will see if i set up a consultation with a hair restoration specialist to see if in fact I do have "Diffuse Unpatterned Alopecia" I didn't know this even existed. The apparent hair loss on the sides I noticed in the pics but its not as apparent when I cut my hair. It actually looks as dense as the rest of my hair in the lower part of my head when its not as long as it is now. I'll keep you guys posted on what they tell me.
  7. Yes i keep getting reassured this is the right place to be...thats great news thanks. I am 26, located in Miami Florida. As far as the meds go they are taken care of by the docs at these clinics that perform the transplant correct? Man just 6 yrs ago I had so much hair it was incredible, I used to shape it into place with bees wax...now if i put bees wax on it i think whats left will fall off. Hey any idea on how many grafts I might need to densen things up back to what they were?
  8. Guys I think this is the correct place to post. I have noticed a significant amount of hair loss on the upper part of my head and overall hair density loss particular to the front hairline and crown. I have tried the product nioxin to see if it helps but no luck so far. I was looking for some input as far as the best way to go about restoring back my hair surgically and how I should go about finding a competent doctor. Do you guys just look for a local place in the city you live or is it worth flying somewhere were the price or work performed might be better?

  10. what do you think of laser treatments? i saw this thought it was interesting (promotional link removed) thanks, ralph
  11. i will look into that i just hate taking any pills or sprays, worth looking into. i thought getting the work done early is better than waiting to go bald.
  12. yeah thanks i know will happen i'll loose even more hair and end up looking like my father. I also have a thining crown (the upper back part of the head) for less than 2000 grafts will they take a strip of do the FEU where holes are punched into the back of the head. here is the back of the head thanks,
  13. yeah here are the pics just some radom ones that get the idea across, i work in architeture at a desk on a computer... i do interact with clients though. the weekends i spend the almost all the time outdoors jet sking and wake boarding in salt water environment and in sunny south florida. I don't think these conditions are the best for my hair but i am looking to fix it. let me know what you guys think 4000 grafts seems like alot i am thinking maybe less might do it for now. At least to get my hairline down on my foreheard where it used to be.
