  1. Yes, tightness was very normal in my case. As a matter of fact, I'm nearing the 6 month mark and there are some instances where I still feel the incision scar if I press firmly against my head. Although, if I remember correctly, my doctor told me the skin on my squash was pretty darned tight prior to the surgery.
  2. Yeah, I hear ya. I probably will end up going the traditional route from now on. It's just that I really liked that particular outfit because I got the actual Proscar tablets - unless they were good fakes - complete within Merck packaging; all for about $150 for 90 tablets, which is a year's supply. Can any type of doctor prescribe Proscar? The facility where I had my HT done in July told me they cannot prescribe Proscar and also mentioned fewer and fewer doctors are prescribing Proscar for hair-related issues. This doesn't make any sense because finasteride is finasteride, at least one would assume. I've never really had a prescription for Proscar, so if anybody can point out what type of doctor I should seek, I would appreciate it. I live in the Chicagoland area.
  3. C'mon - nobody's ordered any prescription drugs thru a Mexican online pharamcy? Holy balls, either ya'll are loaded up to the gills, or these are really some rogue drug sites!
  4. Guys, For the past 5 years, I had been purchasing brand name Proscar thru a Canadian Pharmacy for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, I recently received email stating they went out of business. My question is whether anybody's had any bad experiences with any of the online pharmacies, namely the Mexican sites. I've noticed while the Mexican sites seem to be the most reasonable in terms of cost, nearly all the Proscar is generic Proscar manufactured in India. Any cause for concern here? Again, I had been getting brand name Proscar, but all the brand name stuff I find seems to be ridiculously expensive. Thanks.

  6. Ok, guys, thanks. I talked with the office and they said no damage can really be done at this point, other than short-term pain if stylist really works you over. I'll probably wait a few more weeks, as it can't really hurt. Also, can somebody explain this "shock-loss" concept? I had my transplant in the front-to-mid portion of my scalp, and I haven't noticed whether I lost any additional hair, although I must have? I have real thin, fine, blonde hair, so I'm not sure whether that has any bearing on my situation???
  7. Am I supposed to alert the stylist about the transplanted area? Can this area be combed/brushed now? I'm really unsure as to the state of the transplanted area, one month post-surgery, in this regard.
  8. Guys, I had my procedure with Ray Konior around one month ago and was wondering when it is safest to get a haircut. All the scabs are pretty much gone. I'm still kinda apprehensive about touching the transplanted area because I don't wanna mess anything up. Am I supposed to tell the stylist about it? Is that area comb-able yet??? Thanks.
