Delwaredude- given that I didnt spend much time on checking out all the different doctors- I picked up the doctor that i thought was well respected and was considered one the best from this forum. so I dont have much feedback in terms of comparison with other doctors. all I can say is I have nothing to complain about so far. my recovery is like anyone else's here. few tiny miny hiccups like numbness, donor area is still sensitive. i gradually started my physical activities (running and workout) and after five weeks - I was already at 75-80% of my previous level. (my physical activities are much more intense than an average person.) now just waiting to see the end results. the process itself was not that complicated (from my perspective) or painful except when they put needles in the donor area. although I have lost a lot of native hair which I am hoping will come back.

yes I had it with Dr. Shapiro few weeks ago.

i guess everyone has a different way of doing things- my research was limited to finding a reputable doctor using this forum. once i did that - I didnt think too much about the whole thing or the procedure- I figured I will let the doctor do that for me- after all if his reputation is good there must be a reason for that. Thats how I approached it.

well let me correct my previous statement- i wouldnt say "quite a few" but i think he said "some" therefore no need for u to worry.

dr shapiro told me that quite a few of his patients retain hair.

I am losing some of my transplanted hair with black attachment to it at the bottom - is that scab or graft- and is this normal. thanks
