Two weeks after an FUE procedure, this patient came back so we could address the temples and temporal points. The temporal points are very important to the youth of your face and if they are receded you may look older even if you have a solid frontal hair line. Restoration of the temporal points is challenging because of the steep angle and special curvatures and alignments of the hair shafts. However, if temporal point restoration is done right, it is a great procedure to bring back the youth of your face.

Dr. Mohebi, what was done to stabilize the hair loss? Did she begin medications and/or rogaine? How long was the hair loss stable prior to the transplant?
Hi Mia. The patient had thorough evaluation to determine the causes of her elevated male hormones prior to the procedure, and her physician placed her on anti-androgen medications (such as spironolactone) to control these high levels. Her hair loss was stabilized for a year before we decided to move forward with the hair transplant.
We will update this thread with photos as the patient progresses.

This patient came in looking for a repair of a previous hair transplant that left him unsatisfied with the unnatural hairline and the pluggy looking grafts. The targeted repair areas include the donor area and the hairline. The patient received 800 grafts via FUE with the goal to increase the overall density of the hairline and make the overall aesthetic much more pleasing and natural looking. The patient's previous hair transplant also left the density in the donor area very uneven, due to the concentrated removal of the grafts and the larger punch used for extraction. We fix this by strategically harvesting the grafts from the previously untouched regions of the scalp so as to even out the overall density in the donor region.

This Snapchat story spotlights a female strip hair transplant to restore the temples and front corners and give the patient a solid, feminine hairline. The patient received 2,400 grafts. I've seen this patient for a couple years now. She first came to me with typical male pattern hair loss, and we referred her to a an endocrinologist to get their input on how to tackle this from a hormonal level. Upon stabilizing the hair loss, we were then able to move forward with the hair transplant.

Thank you all for your kind comments about our free hair transplant campaign.
One of the reasons we are doing this again is to help spread the word about just how much of a difference a good hair transplant can make in the life of the recipient. There is so much stigma and misinformation about hair transplants that many potential candidates are afraid to undergo the procedure. We want to show the positive that a good hair transplant can bring to a person't life.
And we don't have a set criteria as of virgin head or a repair so anyone with a good story has a good chance.
Thank you,
-

VIDEO: Parsa Mohebi Class IV, 3500 grafts via FUE Megasession (2 Days)
in Results Posted by Leading Hair Restoration Clinics
Posted
This patient is an NW4 with very thick hair and a slightly better than average donor density. We performed this 3500 FUE Gigasession over the course of two days, extracting and placing 2000 grafts on Day 1 and the remaining 1500 on Day 2.
This video also shows the importance of a surgeon's ability to utilize various instruments and methods of extraction based on each individual patient and their body's needs. Robotic, motorized, manual, different punches, sharp vs. duel, etc. There is no "one size fits all" approach to hair transplants, and we modify our technique depending on what works best for the patient and what will give us the best results.
