Hi,everyone. Sorry, I didn't log in for a while Appologize to those I haven't reply. I'm tied by my work. It's already 5 month since my HT. I'm very pleased with my HT. My hair look much better. The receeding hairline is a history to me now. Worth every $ spent. I've to wait for another 5 to 6 month to see the final result. Also glad to see many choose to have HT done by Dr Path. Have faith.

For my case, it's a pack & go situation. I book a airline but no hotel reservation. Take a cab from the airport to Silom @ the cost of 500 baht.(only if you choose to stay in Silom).Don't go to the counter to book a cab. They will give you a limousine & will cost you 1700 baht, which the mistake I'd made. Ask the cab to drop you at Silo Village Inn. It's a good & cheap place to stay. Only 1099 baht. Take the sky train to Ari where you can reach Dr Path clinic. IF you love shopping, alight at Siam station where there are many shopping malls. I prefer MVK centre. Many good stuff there. Cheers

Maybe you can buy propecia in his clinic, but e-mail to him to confirm. I have a total of 2068 grafts. Dr Path use 2 type of stitches on my donor ( no staples ). Up to this moment, I'm glad I did the transplant. However, the results can only be seen after 9 to 12 months later. Cheers

Suunycoastman, you need not to worry. Dr Path & his staff are excellent. You can trust on him. Today, 19 sept, have my retention stitches taken out. Dr Path said the density is good & I will be glad to see the result when the hair grew out. Will be leaving Bangkok by tomorrow.

But to be frank, many times I wanted to back out. The first is after the deposit made. Then I tell myself, why not go to thailand first & then decide later, at least I can a take a short holiday there. When the consulation day came, a new hairline was drawn & I was quite impressed, so I made a full payment. Next day, wanted to back out again. Take up my courage, and told myself. it's now or never. Reach the clinic, & spoke to Dr Path. He gave me confidence. Ok, I'll do it. Till now, I'm quite satisfied with the transplant, but still have to wait for a year to see the results. Wish me luck

My first option is to have FUE, as it's look promising, with no strip scar. But I changed my mind because it's a blind extraction & I could have loose many grafts. True enough, after the strip was cutted, I took picture of it, enlarge it, I realized that most of the grafts wasn't straight at all. Some towards the right & some to the left. Those with 3 hairs have different direction under the skin. When extracted, it might damage some of the hairs, & resulted poor growth or even deformed and miniaturized hair. Dr Path use trichophytic closure technique which enable hair to grow inside the scar, thus making it less visible.Will update again.

Today, 16th Sept 2009. Went to have my hair wash. Have a little joke with the receptionist. I told her, " Oh, I did something terrible last night. I washed my hair & rubbed it. All the grafts came off." She was stunned. She said, " Are you serious, Why'd you do that ? " She's looked frightened. Haha, just teasing her.After my hair wash, Dr Path came to see me again & told me to come to his office on the 19th to have the retention stitches removed before I leave Bangkok - 20th Sept. After speaking to me, he swiftly attend to another surgery. He's really a busy guy. It's a good sign b'cuz it prove that many patients trust his skill. His nurse even told me that Dr Path did HT almost everyday for more than 20 years. I beleived I'd made a right choice. I will wait for a year to see my results. I left the office & alighted at Siam station for shopping. For those who suffer from hairloss & need HT, you may consider DR Path. Search for a qualify hair surgeon & restore your hair & enjoy life. 15th Sept 2009. Quite anxious & excited. Dr Path redrawn my hairline & we agreed to it. Was estimated about 2100 grafts but only 2068 grafts was taken. 529 single hair, 1390 2 hairs & 149 3 hairs, thus total 3756 hairs. The bal $ was paid after the surgery.After taken 4 valiums & anti-biotic, I was ready for the HT. The strip was cutted without any pain, so does the incision & the planting of hairs. Overall the surgery took about 6 to 7 hrs. As comment by Dr Path's previous patients, Dr Path & his teams are extremely caring & profesional. Dr Path even called me up in the hotel to ask about my situation.

14th Sept 2009. I went to the clinic earlier so I can check with the bank for the transfer rate. UOB which is nearby the clinic, offer me a better rate than other banks. Had consulation with DR Oravan at 11am. Drawn my hairline & estimated 1600 grafts. Was given anti biotic & shampoo to use before the surgery. I went to UOB & do the exchange & settle the full amount with the Dr Path's nice receiptionist / cashier.

Walked down the road & settle down in Silom village Inn at 1099 baht. Quite cheap for a clean & nice room. I choose to stay in Silom b'cuz it's the central of Bangkok, with nightlife & other exciting places too. http://patpongnightlife.com/index.htm Food are cheap. Beef steak @ Sizzly restaurant cost about 590 baht. Second day, woke up early to find the sky train to Dr Path office. Walk all the way down towards Hotel Sofitel & you will see the station Sala Daeng.Buy your ticket to station Ari (30 baht). Take the train towards National Library but exit at Siam interchange. Take the opposite train to Mo Chit but alight at Ari station. Go to the exit No4 & you will see a Starbuck restaurant or Adidas outlet. Walk all the way towards IBM buiding / Toyota showroom & you are somewhere to 108, Phahonyothin building (brown tall building) which is Dr Path Clinic.The whole journey from Silom to Dr Path clinic is about 30 to 45 mins. Bangkok it's quite safe. People are also friendly & helpful. Along the way you can see many foreigners. So no worry. Many stuff are super cheap too. As you see, instead of spending money on those expensive hotel, I used it to buy many good stuffs.
