Hi all, nice to meet you all. I have been taking proscar for 1.6 years. Last night I noticed I have lost about 2cms more of hairline. It was never apparent before cause I had a long fringe. My hairdresser didnt listen, cut it too short and now I see that proscar hasnt done a thing to stop my hairloss. My consultant said it would prevent further hairloss, and re-grow about half of what I have already lost. Well I havent regrown a thing and my hairline continues to recede. So what can I do? This is a huge blow. I just feel so bitterly depressed. My hairline, although receding, used to be clearly defined. Now it is very patchy - obviously in the stage of loosing it. I am 26yo. Considering HT. Can anyone tell me, it may be a dumb q, but can the donor be someone else? My body hair and head hair are significantly different. Sorry guys, but this has really got me down. I have a new job and all, should be celebrating. All I can think about is being bald at 26.
