  1. yes, shock loss of existing ht hair can occur. the ht hair will eventually grow back as long as the surgeon did not transect or damage the existing ht follicles during the next ht. The best way to minimize the probability of shock loss occurring is to use 5 percent minoxidil twice a day a couple of months before the ht,and to get back on the minoxidil as soon as possible after your next
  2. I had my first HT with Doctor Jones. I found the entire experience with his clinic left something to be desired. I voiced my displeasure and opted for a different surgeon for the second HT.
