  1. You don't absolutely have to have a digital camera. You can take the picutres with a regular camera and use a scanner to scan them into digital format. Don't have a scanner? Some of the places that develop your photos will actually put them digitally on a CD ROM for you. I know CVS drugstores by me offer this service.
  2. Most would agree that after 7 days the grafts are pretty much secure unless you severely traumatize them. After a week, you want to wash a little more agressively to loosen up the scabs.
  3. Mine all started out as little black dots, growing eventually into hairs. At 5 months you should be seeing growth. I had sporadic hairs popping up after 4-5 weeks.
  4. My first step would be to consult with an attorney. Don't be fooled that this "consent" form allows a doctor to perform shoddy work and then hide behind it by saying you said it was ok. A consent form WILL NOT excuse a doctor from malpractice or gross negligence. I don't know all of your details, nor have I seen your condition first hand, but if they really butchered you up that bad, my guess is that you probably have a case...consent form or not. Most of these things get settled out of court anyway, but they won't even acknowledge you until they see that legal action is imminent.
  5. I also had new growth after 4-5 weeks. Most of it was sporadic single hair growth in the hairline. I know it was new growth because like the two of you i looked in the mirror 20+ times a day and actually watched them grow from just small black dots to thin hairs. I think when the veterans here talk about it taking 4 months to see results, they're referring to substantial noticable growth...not just a few sporadic hairs
