  1. Hi guys. Firstly, thank you for all your feedback and support. I must admit that I do feel low. Bill, many thanks for being so supportive. I will certainly be looking for another doctor to see if it is possible to do something with my remainin donor hair. And chucky...many thanks my friend. Now we are at least 2 who have been cheated by this Giotis. You are right chucky, Giotis is not a doctor. Either in the qualified, or in the real sense of the term. He's is simply a self proclaimed guru in the field of FUE techniques, but it's clear that what is spoken is not true. The benefits of FUE over grafts seem so obvious to me. No scaring, now healing time etc., But it seems I really met an individual who's sole intention is to pray on the insecurities of people like me who are now so sensitive to my thinning crown that in all honesty I am more or less willing to try anything. And of course when you meet a man like Giotis who tells you his track record, who overrules his doctors, you get a true sense that you are being given a true personal treatment by the god father of FUE. Only to realize that it seems and of course I'm also thinking about your experience as well chucky, that DHI Medical is really nothing more than a cover for money grabbing scheme. I paid over 80.000 dollars for my treatment, and I know that it might not seem alot but it is alot to me. In the first meetings everyone was so friendly. So helpful and it seemed sympathetic with my situation, but just as you chucky, the first port of call for Mr. Giotis after I agreed to the procedure was money. I feel so stupid now. I've never really been so deliberately "taken in" as I have been with Mr. Giotis, and DHI Medical. But I will follow your advice Bill, I'm not ready to give up and just surrender to my condition and I'll report back after I've consulted a physician. Thanks again guys for all your support. I have been so down these past months, and now I now I am not alone in this which means so much.
  2. I've been losing my hair for many years now. Especially in the crown area and have particularly worried about the problem. After searching on Google I discovered the DHI Medical Group in Greece. Early this year I took a vacation in Greece and Athens, so that I could meet Mr. Giotis. Mr. Giotis is the self proclaimed godfather of hair restoration. Naturally any individual working within this field for over 30 years should be more than competent and overly qualified to review my lowly crown and thinning region. I was received and reviewed by a member of the DHI staff who diagnosed my situation (I would need 1500 hairs). After several consultations, and finally payment the procedure began. Whilst the procedure itself was not uncomfortable and the doctor removed the precise number of hairs that was agreed with DHI Medical and myself, and placed these within the thinning area. The procedure itself was time consuming. When the procedure was finished, Mr. Giotis appeared and told me that I had to go back in and receive even more hairs. "He needs at least 1000 more" said Giotis. The doctor was uncertain and said that our agreement was for 1500. "No", said Giotis, "he needs at least another 1000 hairs there". So the doctor did as he was told and had to remove more hairs and transplant more hairs into the thinning crown. I was really disappointed as this meant more anaesthesia and more hair removal and more anaesthesia and more hair transplantation. The doctor was concerned that my scalp would not hold and retain such a large transplant in such a small region but was obliged to do as Giotis said. It's now been 10 months. Only little hairs have grown through in the region. The official diagnosis is that there's not enough oxygen and blood flow to the hairs because there are too many hair transplanted in such a small so all have failed. I have paid my fees. And also had to pay for the additional 1000 hairs which DHI Medical and Mr. Giotis said were needed. I feel I have been totally fooled and that DHI Medical has exploited my situation and Mr. Giotis did so by telling the doctor that I needed an additional 1000 hair transplants. All I can do is inform people of my own experiences with DHI Medical and all I can advise people to do is never trust Mr. Giotis advice, as it is quite clearly not in the interests of the patient but of his wallet. If anyone else has a similar experience with DHI Medical then please do share this. I fear that I am not the only person out there who has been cheated by DHI Medical. And regarding my payments, I've still not received any in return or refund in part or whole despite my many calls, letters, and mails to DHI. It seems DHI Medical are very concerned about maximizing the amount of money from a patient but strangely unconcerned about patient's, happiness, or returning their fees despite the guarantees made upon the site.
