    Thank you in advance...

So unfortunately I can't give you an accurate answer to your question. I would say that very few patients qualify for the extra dense packing. I would guess that 1%-5% of our patients qualify for extra dense packing.

We end up planting grafts at densities of 40 to 50 FU/sqcm in many of our patients, but I can't give you a percentage.Dr. Paul

Dr. Armani and Dr. Rahal consistently dense pack the hairlines of their patients, both make their incisions with needles. Is it much more difficult for you to plant 70+ grafts/cm?? than 40-50? And what do you think about needles to go over 60 or 70 grafts/cm'

It would be very interesting for many people to see final results from SMG with dense packed (65+) hairlines...!?!?!

  2. It's me MP96 is talking about. I'm from germany, got 500 minigrafts in 2006 and started to remove these grafts with electro epilation. In three sessions we removed about 200 grafts, some grafts need a second or third therapy to die and fall out. The root of a hair gets an electrical impulse which makes them desolate. In my case it worked very well!

I know SMG looks for the finest 1 hair grafts to put in the first line, not just any 1 hair grafts.

I thought that's common for every good surgeon to select the 1 hair grafts and the finest 1 hair grafts to put them into the hairline, isn't it?

  4. Has anyone on this forum experience with Dr. Bisanga from BHR Clinic in Brussels?

My favorit is Dr. Ron Shapiro, but he only offers the strip-technique. A natural hairline with many ultrafine caliber hairs in the front is the most important fact for me. The following link shows some results from Dr. Bisanga. I'm happy about every answer, meaning and idea...!

  6. I guess that with plenty donor the doctor can dense pack the hairline and has not to mind wheter the donor has enough reserve or not...!?!

Today I saw the first time in my life a patient from Dr. Hasson, he is 15 month post op. Really really amazing and exactly the result I wanted to have when I had my surgery in 2006. Unfortunately my result was bullsh...

  7. Thank you Jotronic!

I started removing the grafts 3 days ago by electro-epilation and it worked very well. There is no visible scarring left, thank god! The session was about 130 grafts, the next step is in 4 weeks with the same amount. My wish is a very conservative and irregular hairline!!!

Can you tell me once more what angle (degree) should the grafts come out and what direction.

    Thank you for answering!

  8. Hi dakota,

it's a clinic in Germany. There is no reason to make the name public because noone from North- or Southamerica will ever contact this clinic. Furthermore I stay in contact with the clinic to get a compensation maybe...

  9. Do you mean that the grafts would look in almost the same manner if Dr. Hasson, Dr. Wong, Dr. Shapiro etc. had done the HT (aside from higher density)??? I thougt on the first cm are only thin and fine grafts...?!?!

  10. Please give me your opinion.

Should I remove this grafts before making a second surgery or is a good doctor able to camouflage them...?

Is ther any positive aspect on the first HT or did the surgeon make everything wrong what he can do wrong?

    Dear Arrie,

I had a bad surgery in Jan. 2006 here in Germany. Now I'm looking for help and my favorites are Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Rahal and H&W. I didn't know that Dr. Shapiro begun with FUE. Are you sure for 100%? Are there already results to see?

The point is I don't want to have another scar.

    Thank you very much,

    S.

  13. As I described a few days before I had a bad surgery in Germany. But there are a few questions left before I make a second run.

1.) Is the lateral slit technique significant better than the mini- and micro graft technique I had two years ago? What's the main differences and why should the new results be much more natural?

2.) For me it's very important to get fine and fluffy hairs on the first centimeter! Who guarantees that the surgeon fulfills my desire? And is it possible to find enough of these hairs in the donor area?

3.) I need about 1500-2000 grafts in the temple area. Who is the best doc. for these procedure?

Rahal, Hasson, Shapiro, Feller or Scott Alexander?

Thank you very much for help!

    S.
