  1. looking good so far Abe!

i'd say you are right on the mark or perhaps even ahead of the curve which is a good thing.

they say FUE takes longer to grow and sprout but it seems that's not the case for you.

don't worry about one side lagging as that's the case with almost everybody.

this update of yours gives me great hope.

    keep 'em coming.

thanks for update and grow well!

  2. good question jon!

IMHO i think he definitely is worthy of that spot. but sometimes influence and politics get in the way. him not answering to few Bill's questions about BHT got in the way also. plus not being 100% transparent e.g. his secret FUE tool will also stand in the way.

in spite of all that i still say yes in my book, besides he did/tried so much for this HT industry.

a big ego and his "i won't be easily pushed" attitude doesn't fly too well with this site too.

  3. also "Dove Daily Moisture" (very gentle too w/o any harsh chemical crap) or any fine brand moisturizing shampoo would be good for you especially if you are applying minoxidil 2X daily which tends to dry your scalp.

    P.S.

you are MIA what's up? you got hitched? icon_smile.gif

  4. if i were you i'd definitely go with Dr. Hasson in Vancouver Canada, no ifs ands or buts.

spend few months researching this forum and you might come to same conclusion as my suggestion suggested. did last part of the sentence made any sense at all???

also as many grafts as you can afford the better. i suggest around 5K+ grafts in one session (with strong possibility of second session) with Hasson from H&W with plenty of scalp exercises.

i'd guess financing is available for 95% of the top clinics and your ~5K procedure would cost you around $20K (canadian) but probibly even less.

  5. i'd really like to see or at least know the statistic on how many bald men lose there hair on the neck once they go bald NW5-7. i have seen many bald men NW6-7 with their neck hair "intact".

where can i find that stat or is there any good doctor here that kept that statistic or perhaps can point me/us in the right direction regarding that info/stat.

of course it is all negotiable with your doc, i would guess, so it's up to patient to decide if he wants those bad boys FUE'd or let them be(RIP?!?).

  6. I'm really not thinking about hair nearly as much these days.

does that mean third and final HT is out of the question?

looks good but i think 3rd HT (technically 2nd) should finish it off. even 2K as in 800 front 1/3 and 1200 crown.

    i'll echo Thana's last post:

"You clearly look muchmuch better and for 2500 it looks spot-on. I can understand why you'd want to boost the region, though. Going forward you could deal with your crown full-steam ahead and/or refine the front 1/3rd....all up to your personal opinion. Assuming you could get ~3k...could split it 2k crown/1k front....or blast it all to the crown."

good to see you back online.

  7. you are a good guy Severn. polite too. either of the three you can't go wrong. good luck to you with whoever you choose.

when you say H&W, who do you consider H or W for crown work? i'd actually consider W rather than H based on my research. so do the search on crown work by typing actual words in the search box, have a look and make your own decision. for big bald area and megasession it would be H. for perfect hairline SMG or Rahal. all of them are capable of doing it all however now it's all up to you.

    my 2 cents

  8. i bet this has got to be one of the best and most important decisions that you have ever made in your entire life. i can only imagine how you feel right now and you my friend deserve that feeling 100% and more. we don't get to see that often and in fact it's a rarity that somebody comes here and in great detail posts/updates his progress as you do/did. so hats of to you E for being a class act in helping other fellows hairloss sufferers and showing them/us what the HT journey looks like and feels like from start to finish.

with that being said i still have 2 questions/requests from you:

    1. we pretty much have seen plenty of your photos from almost every possible angle, but the only one that is missing is your hair slicked back exposing the hairline. so if you can post that one for us that would be great (no rush of course). i saw one where you are holding your hair back but i would like to see it with no touching.

    2. what do you have to say to guys like LMS and others that are ney sayers and are very skeptical when it comes to hair transplants and what it can be accomplished with it, especially with one pass like yours?

i'll admit i'm also one of those "skeptics" myself but just not to the extreme as LMS and few others, especially after seeing a post from Dr. Feller praising the result seen here: http://hair-restoration-info.c...21087683/m/508107003

oh yeah and I almost forgot to mention ??“ you look great with hair styled icon_cool.gif even if per se there is no more growth or no more thickening to come your way this would still be an outstanding result in my book. but with you being a nice and deserving guy, i'm preaty sure there is still plenty of more to come your way but you just need to hang in there.

  9. i believe that graft (the part that goes under the skin) is more or less the same size for thin and thick hair shaft. it's the graft that is fighting for dominance of a blood supply (and space) and not the actual hair(s). i can see what you are thinking but the logic may be flawed there.

with all that said i could be wrong and some doc should correct me if i am.

  10. i always hated it until i learned it meant brother

well RTC you shouldn't hate it as it is very appropriate since you are/were one of our balding brothers icon_razz.gif

Dr. Lindsey have you seen Colbert report last night by any chance? it was hilarious btw. he just came back from visit in Iraq and while he was staying there with the troops they shaved his head. once he took off the plastic wig on his show last night he received a huge applause from the audience. looked little awkward at first because his ears are not symmetrical but once i got used to his new look (5 minutes into the show) i realized it's not so bad and that he looks good with his new look. but i doubt that he will do that ever again.

give kiss to your daughter from all of us here.
