my first post. I had a HT few days ago with Dr.Cooley. I was Norwood 4 pre-HT. Had about 2500 grafts,exact number not yet known (all to bolster the hairline and the frontal area, none to the thinning crown or vertex). I chose him based on 1). mainly from feedback on this forum 2). partly from professional reference- by a physician colleague - he did not know Dr.Cooley personally but hearsay from a third person. 3). also he was the closest (among the top/coalition) to home - a few hours drive. Overall,it was a good experience. Similar to what other pts of his, posted on this forum. and as of day 4 , no redness (my skin is darker) and some scabbing just forming. No pain, just some itching. I recommend him though I will not know long term results for several months.All my dealings were with Dr.Cooley himself (including the initial consultation and the 1st postop day fixing). All his staff were nice and pleasant. At this stage, I have not yet decided if i want to post any photos. May be in the near future, if I decide to do that.
