  1. I went to Dr. Cohen in Fairfield CT. I think the experience was great, but to be fair I will wait until the results are in to make my final judgement. I am very happy right now though. I think he is conservative in the # of HT's he will do. As a matter of fact, he took pictures of the procedure for a lecture at Yale he was giving a few days later. So I know my scar will be good!
  2. I had my HT (1034) 3 weeks ago. I still had some hair up front but the crown was gone. I comb my hair straight back, so once the scabs came off no one could notice any change. When I go back for HT #2 (1250), we will work on the crown and I will let the new graphs grow out a bit to further mask that I had anything done. After 10 days, I left the hat at home and no one knew what I did. If I had started with the crown, it would have been more obvious. Again, I am not doing mega sessions like some of these guys, which is great, but I don't have the donor supply. That is why I started in front, vanity. BTW, I am at day 22 and over 90% of the recipient area is still hangin around. This is only my opinion though.
  3. Thanks for the info. I will keep my fingers crossed, but I am realistic too. Uncjim - Nice to get some info from another CT man. I will try to post some pics next week.
  4. When did each of you experience the feared hair loss? At day 16 now, I still have almost all of the HT. Are there any secrets to keeping it, or is it crap shoot?

  6. I am 15 days post op (1034) with Dr Cohen in CT. I can't comment on how it will turn out, but he was professional and the girls were fantastic. I am happy right now. Thanks to all of you for the info. Is this normal - I still have tingling on the top and when I shower it is still sensitive. No pain, never really had any. Most of the HT are still there and I hope they stay, but I know there is a 95% chance they won't. I did have some shock. At least I stopped wearing a hat at day 10 and nobody knows the difference at my local bar. Thanks again for the stories guys.
