  1. Dr Harris suggested that about 2600 drafts will placed from top of the forehead to about near the back of the crown. He said this is a conservative surgery because he did not want to jam too many drafts and cause severe shock loss. He also told me it is difficult to get high density with these many drafts, but that this many drafts would be good first surgery. I dont think he has tried to mask any thing from him. I met a couple of his patients, and they seem happy about his service. I have also ready a little about Dr Harris in this forum albeit slightly old posts. In all honesty, I am considering an HT with Dr Harris at this point. I will send in some photos to coalition surgeons for thier viewpoint. Thanks
  2. Guys, Here is a bleaky pic of my crown. Dr Harris has suggested that I draft of 2200-2600 to cover the crown. I will post a better one tommorow. Thanks
  3. Thanks very much Hairbank, Spot B. I will try to put in my pics tonight when I get home. Spot B : what do you mean "It is my understanding that his methods are extremely labor intensive and significantly reduce transection rates"? Is that good or bad? Thanks
  4. Hi Guys, I am 25... and have lost a lot of hair on the crown and in between Norwood scale 4-5. So I met with Dr James Harris in Denver regarding a possible HT. I am currently on Propecia/NIzoral/Rogaine. Dr Harris suggested that there is no difference whether I went through HT now or 10 years later. He says shock loss is more only if there is not much space between hair follicles and since I have a lot of space between hair follicles, he says it should not matter if I get a HT done now or later. He also says since he can see that I will be completely bald in next few years in the crown, there is not much to loose for me if I went for HT now. So what are the biggest concerns of going through HT if you are under 30? I am seriously considering HT at this point but wanted some input from you guys. Thanks for all your suggestions and advice in advance. Thanks
