  1. Sorry - I posted this initially in the wrong forum. I just got my 2nd HT done with Dr. Shapiro the other day. Got about 2600 grafts - filled in mostly the crown area and some on the front. To place the grafts on the front, Dr Shapiro had cut my hair on the front very short. I was initially hoping to cover my native hair on these transplants on the front so the grafts would not be visible. But with the hair being cut so short. I don't have that option. Since i need to get back to work in a week's time, is it safe to use toppik over the grafted areas about 7 days after the transplant? can anyone offer any other suggestions? Thanks

  4. Hi Guys, I had a hair transplant about a month back. I am now thinking of applying couvre hair masking formula. I would like to know if this would adversely effect the growth of the grafts. All inputs would be highly appreciated. Thanks

  10. Last week i got my first procedure done by Dr. Rose at Shapiro medical Centre. Went for 2000 grafts but Dr. Rose was able to extract 2294 grafts. A nice little bonus. The break up was: 1 hair = 571 grafts 2 hair = 1165 grafts 3 hair = 489 grafts 4 hair = 69 grafts From a procedural point, i should say that it was a fabulous experience. Felt no pain at all(that was my biggest concern after all!) Dr. Rose is a great doctor, very helpful, gentle and an down-to earth person. Matt is an great resource and the staff was very cooperative and helpful. All in All a very great experience.i am resting comfortably now and i have had slight swelling on the forehead. i have been diligently applying icepacks and thanks to all the previous helpful postings on this board, i was prepared for it.! I am enclosing my pre and post-op photos immediately after the procedure. All comments and suggestions are most welcome. Thanks, guys for all the encouragement and i know now comes the hardest part! Waiting for the hair to grow!!!

This is my first HT and i am looking to get around 2000 FUT's mainly in the frontal area. I am excited and at the same time apprehensive. This is my first surgery and i am concerned with the pain associated when i am injected in the scalp area. Never been to a dentist so kinda worried. Will post my photos and my experiences for the benefit of all. This site has been of immense help. Keep up the good work guys!!
