  1. That Kevin and his gang were doing the same thing- remember him and ScalpMed? I think that long thread is STILL up at Hairsite. Even if they weren't shills for ScalpMed...he had that stupid request for donations/contributions.

I wouldn't be surprised if these are the same guys. Same M.O. Website...asking for $...new posters tag-teaming/ganging up on both results and against those questioning them.

  2. If I may....

You hit on one major obvious red flag- cueball to furball in 4 months. Actually I thought it was 3..but either way- no way.

As for mentioning the other products along with Scalpmed....what you said there is exactly what he/they are hoping ppl will think.

On a certain forum that he posts at..there are now 2 other ppl talking just like him, and tag-teaming away. Stuff like this has been going on for years with that company.

On silica..I've taken microsilica before- for heavy-metal chelating. Otherwise it's(regular silica or horsetail) just been in various supplements I've taken, including a hair combo I now take.

  3. Thanks for the response.

Well..this actually has to do with Proxiphen and Proxiphen-N, and maybe even NANO. I'm sure you're aware of these products, that have been around for decades. The Dr. behind the product himself has talked about ingredients that he won't divulge that are supposed to make the product(s) even better. "Mysterious ingredients" are the words thrown around since at least the late 90's.

  4. I thought maybe someone here would know- does a company have to list ALL the ingredients they put into a product? Is there a problem with a company saying via email or even in a forum like this- that there are extra goodies in the product, but I/we can't say what they are...?

Maybe someone has a link to a FDA page that lays out the rules.

    Thanks

  5. I actually have been getting quite a few from Amazon lately. Especially the ones that have the 15% off for auto-shipment...free shipping as well. Just have to keep an eye on the prices as they can change. You get a notification prior to each shipment..what the price is etc.

  6. Swimmy...as the person that introduced ppl in these forums to that Mibelle Biochemistry line...as well as the Phytocelltec...the ingredients are good. Maybe you could give some examples of products with "random crap" in a bottle...but I'd like to point out that they could have gone with more ingreds that actually have some evidence for hair regrowth or even use for hair health. Many of the ingredss *are* in other products..even if not the Mibelle branded ingreds. Phytocelltec as well..many products these days with the apple stem cells. Some with the other Phytocelltec plant stems cells as well- Andalou's being one.

BTW..I was also the one who pointed out that they need to be careful not to let the stuff freeze(can't say I'm not trying to be helpful ;) ). I posted this in another forum and it was relayed to their forum..not sure if it was you who did that or not. I guess I would also suggest they ask Mibelle if it's a good idea to shake the product up.

  7. Guys..seriously....you could go to Iherb.com or Swansonvitamins.com and pick out 6 supplements and/or combos that would make just as much sense or more.

One of my favorites is acetyl-glutathione. Not cheap..and I'm not even going to say it's doing anything hair-wise. But I'd probably put it up against that whole line mentioned above. I also take MSM...with bioflavanoids.

  8. Actually many of the ingreds are not "entirely different from the norm". But it is a good list..although the hype over it- which is the norm for that group- is probably going to disappoint folks.

    As for

The makers of this product have been very active in the hair loss community forums. So they aren't some random joes trying to sell a product to suckers. They are like us. Trying to find answers to hair loss. So I've been particularly interested in this product for that reason. Not to mention the creators behind the product have contributed greatly to the hair loss community.

...there's so much to say about that...but I'll just say there's a reason why their websites and names etc aren't allowed in a few forums.

BTW..is Immortalhair ever going to show us his hair that could never be any better? :D

    Good luck with it Swimmy.

  9. This/these guy(s) have been spamming all over the place. Including where I mod at. Even after their posts were deleted..they come back as "someone else".

It's odd the # of companies that do this too. Why not just introduce yourself...say you've got a product that *may* help..maybe even offer a discount in the beginning..etc?? Of course if you're allowed to do that in whatever forum you're in.

  10. This from chrome over at HLH:

And here is an email i received from the FDA themselves regarding the Hairmax laser comb "clearance":

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your interest in contacting the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

through your recent e-mail is appreciated.

If you look at the Indications for Use statement in the 510(k) data at

the link, you will see that the HairMax is indeed cleared for promotion

of hair growth in those with male-pattern baldness.

I hope this response proves helpful to you!

  11. Bill...you still cannot just comment on the pictures or provide the FDA ones for Propecia or Minoxidil. And go ahead and post the 10,000 others- I'm sure I'll have fun with them as well.

I've already pointed out WHY I'm asking for those photos. Another way of putting it is how I put it at HLH just: "Actually they do have a place in this discussion since no one has provided me all those before/after pictures of the trialists from the FDA approval of those substances. And I mean ALL of them, not just the best(haven't even gotten those). They were approved but that doesn't = major results like you're whining about regarding LLLT."

And btw..Dr. Feller HAS moved the goal posts there. Before it was ANY proof that LLLT works. Now it's "significant results" etc.

  12. Bill...I have posted links to photos. Reread my previous post where I once again ask for you to comment on the others I posted. You still cannot find the photos of the minox only and propecia only trialists. I still may ask in the forums for people to direct us to those that are forum participants, but like what you posted- most are going to be of users using other things as well.

To both you and giants, I asked for the FDA pictures- I didn't get them. The vast majority of those that were posted were using other things as well, such as nizoral. I also pointed out where OTHERS were questioning the pictures etc- there was nothing special about those photos at all. As YODA said: "What's funny is that those photos, for example, if I were to say they are all from Low Level Laser Therapy patients, Dr. Feller and all the other non-believers would find a way to DEBUNK each and every one. LOL..Oh, this guy just grew his hair longer...Oh, this guy had towel dried hair in his before photo...Oh, this guys after photo is a little darker, etc etc....LOL!!!"

Have you guys seen the thread over at Hair Loss Help I'm referring to? It's right here
