I currently at 19 days post-op and the donor area is feeling almost normal except for some minor numbness and itching from the feeling starting to come back. I had a pretty large strip excised.. 3/4" from ear to ear. It is feeling good sooner than expected because mine was pretty tight and sore for the first two weeks.

Jo, What's this about pimples? What's that like..whiteheads or something? Does every follicle get that when the hair emerges? What's the discomfort level and healing time for that? Sounds like part of the deal but what a drag, especially with thin hair and a pimply scalp..not a good look.

A friend of mine who is a plastic surgeon recommends a product called "super salve" It's hard to find but I think they have it at Thrify's and Long's. Good Luck with that
