In my opinion if you are a NW4 and could probably get used to the shaved look, that is what you should do. At a NW4 you have a lot of area to cover and once you are commited there is no turning back as it will take several proceedures and a lot of scarring (which eliminated the shaved option)to get anything close to dense coverage.

If your Doc said 700 grafts would cover a Norwood 3 he is wrong....way wrong!

In my opinon you should not get a HT. Too much to cover. The best case you will end up with is a bad combover. The worst case is a scarred up head with patchy thin transplanted hair left.Just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Shave it first!!!!! I wish I would have. I am not unhappy with my HT but should have given it much more thought. Now I cant shave it (big ass scar on the back of my melon)
