I heard it on the morning news on CBS morning addition. The dr's name is somthing that begins with a W. The dr stated that he grew hair on bald mice using some sort of a stem cell. The next step is testing on humans.

do you think he is totally bald? or do you think he has had work done?

  3. I am not taking sides , and trust me I know what its like to go threw a less than average procedure. On the Dr's behalf yes it was a poor job and he is held accountable for it. BUT, as long as he offers to fix it at no cost and give him his money back for the first procedure I really see no need to trash the guys reputation. He did come on here like a man and admitted his mistake. Just like I have said in the past these Dr's are not god and can make error's as well. Doc I really dont think anyone on here trashed your rep that hard, it could've been alot worse for you. Just do the right thing by your patient and this will blow over.

  4. I wouldn't go that far because I don't wish anything bad to anybody, but his words were indeed irresponsible. Don't forget, however, that he might have written that on purpose, to trigger reactions and in some wicked way advertise Alvi's work.

I was'nt trying to be mean spirited , the point is when you start receding at an early age 18-21 there is a very good possibility you will be a nw 4-5-6 , so if you use 3-4 thousand grafts just in the hairline zone and close the temples that does'nt leave much left for future hairloss. My point is still valid you will have a great looking juvenile hairline with no hair behind it. It may or may not happen to him and I dont wish it on him. I was'nt snapping back at you either I just wanted to explain myself. icon_smile.gif

  5. I think the main thing when it comes to ht's , is that you can't forecast you hairloss you dont know what you will need 10 years down the road. I remember when that clown came on here defending dr armani saying things like I dont want a mature hairline and bashing guys on here for expressing concerns, I wanna see that kid 10 or 20 years from now when he has a 18 y/o hairline and no hair on the crown. I always keep this in mind when looking to do an ht, the dr's we see are not god they cant give what god gave you.

  6. I am not jumping on the Alvi Armani band wagon but from those pics on his website his results are outstanding. Most of his patients look really young, mostly in their twenties and although he has closed their temples and added alot of density to the hairline , I think the majority of patients that are that young will eventually see hair loss in the crown area and if that is the case they possibly could run into a problem down the road.
