  1. yes he mentioned scar revision..... but i car way more about the front as we can easilt dermatch the back hey ;-),when can i take the staples out mate?
  2. thanks guys :-) ye i hope all the grafts take my head is still killing me in my donor area tho its 9 days post op too.just the waiting game now :-(
  3. like everyone on here hairloss as knocked me down a great peg in life from not wanting to swim in the sea if im on holiday just incase the dermatch came off, spendin a hour in the mirror to get the perfect hairstyle so that people wouldnt notice receeding hairline, slaking off in the gym because of stress of loosing more hair.... the list goes on and im sure its preety much the exact what everyone goes through on here. in 2004 i thought screw it ill look on the net and get a hair "fix" to cut along story short i took out a ??3000 loan which im still payin for now and went to TRANSFORM medical group in manchester, excited about having hair back i went through the procedure and it turned out to be absolutly shite i had to cover every hair strand they gave me with dermatch and thickneing spray , dr feller reckoned TRANSFORM gave me bout 200 grafts if that so i thought to myself, theres noway im gonna have my hairline back again... until i found this site with all my brothers on here sharing the same shame that most of us go through, its not a question of vanity, if having hair makes you happy then having a Hair transplant is defo the way to go but theres about only 5 Good doctors in the entire world and you only need to read these furoms to find out who. i went and ad a consultation with the NORTON CLINIC and i had the cash i was a phone call away to booking my ??4000 1000FUE with those butchers when i thought to myself lets have a look on the net what people have to say i couldnt find ANYBODY who as ad good experience with these scanks, there website looks so promising but please please everyone stay away from UK clinics they dont even have the right tools nevermind the know how. so i worked for months on end to save up the money to have a proper procedure and paid cash, I flew to NEW YORK on a monday and flew back to th UK on the following sunday, i booked with lastminute.com and it cost me ??325 DIRECT FLIGHT from manchester airport, a tip would be to fly back on a sunday it works cheaper sometimes??? i stayed at the ROYAL INN hotel (on the same road as DR FELLER) now the hotels around new york are dead expensive but i managed to get the hotel for ??55 a night, its a very basic hotel but you dont need a flash hotel do we people when we going over there for a life change.so i had the Procedure done on friday so i ad a few days in new york, i did all the new york things like empire state, statue liberty, museums, all the dogs and i must say i loved every minute of it, it was freezing but it was brilliant over there. i could talk all day about it but anyhow... i arrived at the office at 7.30am i waited for dr feller to arrive, he greated me i was quite nervous about the procedure it was 4 years since i had one. he took me into his office (needs abit of a tidy up :-) heads up on that one if you see this) he examined me and asked me what i wanted and he gave me ideas and we drew the line on i was so shocked he could reach the goal i wanted, he took loadsa photos in his office this guy is so proud of his work let me add. we went to his other rooms and had the injections into the back of the head which hurt like hell, each person is different may i add. after that was done he took me into another room were he worked out my donor line he then let his assistants shave back of my head, he then cut out my donor and stapled me back up again (you cant feel a thing when the anaesthetics kick in from the injections) hi assistants was then cutting up the grafts which i could see they was doin with big microscopes ( THE uk clinics didnt even use these). he then injected me forehead which again hurt more than the back but it was over quite soon, he then "punched all the little holes in my head ready for grafts, this guys got his own tool. the assistants placed all my grafts while i watched TV, it was all over by 3ish. Feller took more pictures of my graft placements, DR feller is a artist, you can tell this guy knows what hes doing. Im so happy i didnt go to any more UK clinics, please everyone if your serious about your hair go to a good doctor in the USA or something, dont let travel put you off. Thanks everyone on here for pointing my in the right direction, i dont know what id of done if it wasent for you guys. Thank you Dr.Feller for your work i hope it works out good for me it was a great experience. here is some pictures of my day and a few from my previous scar. thanks for reading ill keep you all updated on my progress as tmes go on.
